My favorite of the scone flavors, I add a handful or two of dried blueberries and they are outrageous.

Cache Lake Fryin’ Pan Bread is an awesome addition to any backpacking trip! I’ve tried most of the flavors, and haven’t found one yet that isn’t good. One package makes enough for 4 servings, but it’s so good that 1 or 2 people usually eat it all! This takes a little time and patience to make in the back-country, but it is SOOOOO worth it. My only gripe- sometimes the sweetener hardens and doesn’t always dissolve, even when heated by itself. I’ve gotten around this by making my own- I just dissolve sugar in the water before adding it to the mix. It’s a toss up between these and the cranberry, as my favorite.

Tried these for the first time on a 3 week car camping trip around Lake Superior. Ingredients were very fresh and they were easy to make and clean up. Make sure and keep the heat low when making the biscuits so they don’t over-brown.
